Put any referrer list on any page

As you probably know, the default is that each page have its own referrer list. But now, you can use a certain referrer list on all/some of your pages.

Use this feature when you want to make the list on your home page visible on another page. Or if you want to use a list from another web site on your web site.

All you need to do is to find the Page ID of your home page (or another page) and put it in your JavaScript code. The Page ID can be found in the Referer.org Live Report.

This feature can also be handy when testing out Referer.org or when designing your referrer list. It's also possible to have an empty list on your home page and instead show the list on your "partners"-page.

Read more about this feature in the Referer.org FAQ.

Zebra stripe your lists using CSS

Every list item now has a new CSS class called 'referer_odd' or 'referer_even'. You can use these classes to zebra stripe your lists. We've updated our list on the Referer.org front page to make use of these classes. Have a look!

We've also noticed that a lot of the referrer lists are not using the power of CSS. With CSS you can make your list look beautiful! We're now planning to add new section to Referer.org, containing different designs/templates that you can use with your lists. If you've come up with a design, please send us a link to a page containing your list - and we will probably add it to our new template section.

Web site thumbnails are being updated

Some users might have noticed that the tumbnails in the expanded referrer lists and in the RSS feeds have been gone for a few days. The reason for this is that Alexa, the previous provider of thumbnails, have modified their service. We therefore have now started creating our own thumbnails, but it might take a while for them to show. Please be patient.

Remove referrer spam from your referer list

We are working hard to remove referrer spam from all referer lists. In our struggle, we would like you to notify us if you see an incorrect referrer in your referrer list. This will help us fine tuning our system.

To find a list with your referrers, use the Live Report located at the Referer.org web site.
